In the UFC 243 “Thrill and Agony” preview, we get a behind-the-scenes look at the immediate aftermath of the main event between Israel Adesanya and Robert Whittaker , as well as the co-main event between Daniel Hooker and Al Iaquinta . In the main event, Adesanya (18-0 MMA, 7-0 UFC) proved the doubters wrong with his stoppage of Whittaker (20-5 MMA, 11-3 UFC). The Nigerian ended the fight with a barrage of punches in the second round, which left the then-champion bleeding on the canvas
