LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Friday’s early and official UFC 245 fighter weigh-ins, where all but one fighter made weight without issue. The early weigh-ins took place at the UFC host hotel in Las Vegas and preceded the ceremonial weigh-ins for the fans , which take place at 7 p.m. ET at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The same venue hosts Saturday’s event, which has a main card on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN2 and early prelims on UFC Fight Pass/ ESPN+ . Among those weighing in were welterweight champion Kamaru Usman (15-1 MMA, 10-0 UFC) and former interim champ Colby Covington (15-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC), who meet in the main event, featherweight champ Max Holloway (21-4 MMA, 17-4 UFC) and Alexander Volkanovski (20-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC), who fight in the co-feature, and dual women’s titleholder Amanda Nunes (18-4 MMA, 11-1 UFC), who puts her bantamweight belt up against former featherweight champ Germaine de Randamie (9-3 MMA, 6-1 UFC).
