The UFC’s final event of its second “Fight Island” stint went down Saturday with UFC 254, which took place at Flash Forum at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. In the main event, Khabib Nurmagomedov (29-0 MMA, 13-0 UFC) further cemented himself as the top lightweight in MMA, then relinquished that position when he announced his retirement following a second-round submission of Justin Gaethje (22-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC) to keep his perfect resume. Nurmagomedov exits the sport with one of the greatest resumes of all time.
