It proved to be a big night for the underdogs at UFC 257 as Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler loaded up and scored a pair of eye-catching TKOs to stake their claims for a shot at the UFC lightweight title. Poirier took Conor McGregor ’s best shots in Round 1, then let loose his own strikes in Round 2 to hand the Irishman the first stoppage due to strikes of his MMA career, while Chandler connected with a big left hand to stun Dan Hooker and announce his arrival in the UFC in spectacular style.
