It could be a while until Israel Adesanya is able to defend his UFC middleweight title again. Adesanya (20-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) fell short in his pursuit of “champ champ” status when he lost a unanimous decision to light heavyweight champ Jan Blachowicz in the main event of UFC 259 in Las Vegas. “The Last Stylebender” will need doctor clearance for his left foot and ankle or he could be looking at up to six months on the sidelines
