Despite the quick turnaround, Dan Hooker wishes his fight with Islam Makhachev was five rounds. Hooker (21-10 MMA, 11-6 UFC) meets Makhachev (20-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) on the main card of UFC 267 on Saturday less than one month after his big win over Nasrat Haqparast at UFC 266 in September. Wanting an extra 10 minutes with one of the most dominant fighters on the roster seems like a daunting ask, but Hooker hasn’t stopped training since his win over Haqparast and seems up for the challenge. “Let’s do it,” Hooker told Submission Radio .
