UFC 267 delivered beyond expectations in terms of historic achievements. Saturday’s event at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi produced a cavalcade of record-setting results. None was bigger than the main event, though, where Glover Teixeira (33-7 MMA, 16-5 UFC) became the oldest fighter in history to lay hands on UFC gold for the first time with a second-round submission of Jan Blachowicz (28-9 MMA, 11-6 UFC). The co-main event saw Petr Yan (16-2 MMA, 8-1 UFC) and Cory Sandhagen (14-4 MMA, 7-3 UFC) put on an all-time bantamweight title fight, but only Yan left with the interim strap courtesy of a unanimous decision .
