LAS VEGAS – Charles Oliveira has submitted more opponents than anyone else in UFC history, and he added Dustin Poirier to his list Saturday. In the UFC 269 main event, Oliveira (32-8 MMA, 20-8 UFC) tapped Poirier (28-7 MMA, 20-6 UFC) out with a rear-naked choke to retain his title at 1:02 of Round 3. UFC 269 takes place Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and early prelims on ESPN+. The first round was as action-packed as they come. In the opening seconds, Poirier dropped Oliveira with a punch.
