LAS VEGAS – The Amanda Nunes vs. Julianna Pena women’s bantamweight title fight is official for UFC 269 . Reigning two-division champion Nunes (21-4 MMA, 14-1 UFC) and “The Ultimate Fighter” winner Pena (10-4 MMA, 6-2 UFC) successfully made weight on Friday morning for the title bout, which was originally supposed to happen in August before “The Lioness” contracted COVID-19. Both women looked ready to finally make it happen, though, with Nunes stepping on the scale at 134.5 pounds while Pena registered at 135 on Friday morning at the UFC Apex.
