LAS VEGAS – Daniel Rodriguez feels like the rightful winner, despite some online saying he’s not. The UFC welterweight defeated Li Jingliang in a split decision on the main card of Saturday’s UFC 279 . It was a competitive bout, but some people criticized the scoring of the fight – including UFC president Dana White. Rodriguez (16-2 MMA, 6-1 UFC) understands it was a close fight, but feels he did enough to earn the victory. “It was a close fight, a really close fight,” Rodriguez said.
