Jack Della Maddalena long envisioned a home turf victory on a UFC pay-per-view and Saturday he experienced it. In front of his home city of Perth, Australia, Della Maddalena (14-2 MMA, 4-0 UFC) clubbed and subbed opponent Randy Brown (16-4 MMA, 10-5 UFC) with a rear-naked choke at 2:13 of Round 1. The fight took place on the main card of UFC 284 at RAC Arena. Maddalena walked out to a raucous ovation that coincided with a sing-a-long of his walkout song, “TNT” by AC/DC. The party continued all the way through the official reading of the decision.
