PERTH, Australia – Yair Rodriguez and Josh Emmett had their final pre-fight faceoff at UFC 284 ceremonial weigh-ins, and now just hours remain before they fight for interim gold. Rodriguez (14-3 MMA, 9-2 UFC) and Emmett (18-2 MMA, 9-2 UFC) made the featherweight limit earlier in the day, then proceed to stare each other down for a final time. With champion Alexander Volkanovski occupied with a move up to lightweight in the main event, Rodriguez and Emmett will battle to see who gets the first shot upon his divisional return.
