The featherweight division has a new player after Aljamain Sterling successfully debuted in the weight class. The former bantamweight champion picked up a dominant win in his first fight at 145 pounds and completely outgrappled Calvin Kattar in the preliminary card of Saturday’s UFC 300 , which took place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Sterling (24-4 MMA, 16-4 UFC) outpointed Kattar (23-8 MMA, 7-6 UFC) to win a unanimous decision that read 30-27 on the three judges’ scorecards.
