Deiveson Figueiredo ’s move to bantamweight is resulting quite well for him. The former UFC flyweight champion now is 2-0 since moving up to 135 pounds in December. Figueiredo (23-3-1 MMA, 12-3-1 UFC) built off his successful divisional debut by submitting Cody Garbrandt (14-6 MMA, 9-6 UFC) in the opening bout at UFC 300 Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It was an impressive victory by Figueiredo.
