A light heavyweight bout is scheduled for a UFC headliner on Aug. 6. Contenders Jamahal Hill (10-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) and Thiago Santos (22-10 MMA, 14-9 UFC) will go toe-to-toe in a five-round bout atop the UFC Fight Night event scheduled for that date, at a location and venue to-be-announced. Two people with knowledge of the matchup recently informed MMA Junkie of the booking but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.
