Chris Weidman has been one of the more outspoken critics of testosterone-replacement therapy, so given the Nevada State Athletic Commission’s recent ban of TRT, the UFC middleweight champion was admittedly satisfied. Our partners at Fight Now TV recently caught up with Weidman (11-0 MMA, 7-0 UFC) and his new opponent, Lyoto Machida (21-4 MMA, 13-4 UFC), who recently replaced Vitor Belfort (24-10 MMA, 13-6 UFC) in the May 24 UFC 173 headliner following the TRT ban, at the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio, to get his take on the news. “I’ve made it no secret at all my stance on TRT,” Weidman said. “I always thought it was cheating.
