Joanna Jedrzejczyk is on the mend, and in series of updates on her social-media account, the UFC strawweight champion is as upbeat and likable as ever. Jedrzejczyk (11-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC), who’s ranked No. 1 in the NOS Energy Drink MMA women’s strawweight rankings , broke her right hand in a UFC 193 co-main-event win over challenger Valerie Letourneau (8-4 MMA, 3-1 UFC) earlier this month. Immediately after the fight, which took place Nov. 14 in Australia, the hard-hitting Polish fighter said she was likely heading to surgery , and she ended up receiving a medical suspension that could run six months .
