Ronda Rousey Here’s one way to sell some magazines: Stick UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey on the cover. Even if it’s a men’s magazine – one that’s rarely featured females on the cover. Perhaps taking a cue from the MMA world (where anything Rousey-related is likely to garner attention), “Men’s Fitness,” a 27-year-old publication whose covers usually features actors, sports figures and other male notables on the cover, instead opted for Rousey for its Australian version. Rousey broke the news via Instagram : Although Rousey is apparently the first female on the cover of the Australian version of the magazine, the likes of Carmen Electra, Stacy Keibler and Maria Menounos have also had the honor on the U.S. version (via Twitter ): Pretty cool that Rousey is on Men's Fitness, but I don't think she's the first female on the cover. pic.twitter.com/2e6tXQgzi4 — Dann Stupp (@DannStupp) October 3, 2015 @ DannStupp http://t.co/YLQbaE0r5h — Ryan Loco (@RyanLoco) October 03, 2015 @ DannStupp http://t.co/xdbEEZwUrl — Ryan Loco (@RyanLoco) October 03, 2015 @ DannStupp after a lil reading, apparently she is the first woman to appear on the cover of Mens Fitness………(australia) — Ryan Loco (@RyanLoco) October 03, 2015 The timing for the cover makes sense
