However, he’s looking for his own identity in the world’s most notable MMA organization. Knight was assigned the nickname “Hick Diaz” following his split-decision victory over Jim Alers at UFC on FOX 20 in July because of his in-cage antics, which included taunting his opponent and unleashing a constant stream of trash-talk. It seemingly worked in his favor, and Alers was thrown off his game, which allowed Knight to pull ahead and take the nod on the scorecards
