The former UFC welterweight champion’s move up to middleweight paid immediate dividends as Hendricks scored a unanimous decision victory over Hector Lombard on Sunday night at UFC Fight Night 105. Hendricks (18-6 MMA, 13-6 UFC), who admitted with struggles making 170 pounds, looked fresher at 185 and only seemed to get stronger as the fight wore on, outpointing his way past Lombard (34-7-1 MMA, 3-5 UFC). The middleweight bout was the co-main event of Sunday’s UFC Fight Night 105 event at Scotiabank Centre.
