LAS VEGAS – The second main event of UFC’s busy October schedule is official after Mackenzie Dern and Marina Rodriguez made weight. At Friday’s UFC Fight Night 194 weigh-ins, Dern (11-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) and Rodriguez (15-1-2 MMA, 4-1-2 UFC) had no issues on the scale and successfully hit the strawweight limit for their headlining matchup. Rodriguez was the first fighter to step on the scale, registering at 115 pounds even. Dern came in with just 17 minutes remaining in the two-hour window and tipped the scale at 114.5 pounds (via Twitter ): Marina Rodriguez ( @wmmarz ) was first the scale at weigh-ins and hit that championship weight. #UFCVegas39 | Full video: https://t.co/VpVQhsrgfo pic.twitter.com/jTVPFutRBx — MMA Junkie (@MMAjunkie) October 8, 2021 Last but not least! @MackenzieDern was the final fighter to step on the scale, but came in at 114.5 pounds
