LAS VEGAS – The final UFC event of 2021 takes place Saturday with UFC Fight Night 199 . The card, which streams entirely on ESPN+ from the UFC Apex, featured a heavyweight main event between spectacular finishers Derrick Lewis (25-8 MMA, 16-6 UFC) and Chris Daukaus (12-3 MMA, 4-0 UFC), who are looking to entrench themselves in the divisional title queue with a big win. The co-headliner is a big one at welterweight, as Stephen Thompson (16-5-1 MMA, 11-5-1 UFC) and Belal Muhammad (19-3 MMA, 10-3 UFC) clash in a matchup between two names who have yet to challenge dominant titleholder Kamaru Usman. The road to UFC Fight Night 199 has been tricky, with three fighters missing weight at Friday’s official weigh-in. Alas, the card will continue and the 42nd and final UFC event of another busy year is set to unfold.
