LAS VEGAS – JJ Aldrich is ready to break into the UFC’s flyweight rankings. Aldrich (11-4 MMA, 7-3 UFC) notched her third win in a row when she defeated short-notice replacement Gillian Robertson this past Saturday at UFC Fight Night 203. With the win, she’s eyeing rising newcomer Erin Blanchfield (8-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC), who hit the rankings after just two UFC wins over Sarah Alpar and Aldrich’s teammate Miranda Maverick. “I want to break into the top 15, so I know Erin Blanchfield’s up there,” Aldrich told reporters at the post-fight news conference. “She just got a new 15 number next to her name, so I think that would be a great fight for me.” Watch Aldrich talk about her victory and more in the video above.
