The middleweight bout on the main card at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas tied the promotion’s record for quickest no contest after Khizriev (14-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) poked Muradov (26-8 MMA, 4-2 UFC) in the eye. Referee Herb Dean called time and brought in the cageside physician. Through an interpreter, Muradov told Dean he couldn’t see.
