BRISBANE, Australia – Krzysztof Jotko didn’t exactly overwhelm Bruno Santos , but the Polish fighter did do enough to take a unanimous decision after three close rounds (29-28, 29-28, 30-27). The middleweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 33 event at Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Australia. It aired on FOX Sports 2 following a single prelim on MMAjunkie and ahead of the main card on FOX Sports 1. Jotko seemed content to spend much of the fight with his back against the fence circling away from Santos and looking for the chance to land his left hand. That very strike sat Santos down late in the second, but with time running out Jotko was unable to capitalize. Santos rallied in the third, thanks to his ground game, but couldn’t quite sink a submission despite several opportunities.
