DULUTH, Ga. – From the way Yoel Romero and Derek Brunson traded brain-scrambling skull shots early on, you just knew it was going to end badly for someone. You just didn’t know who until the final round, which is when Romero poured it on with brutal hooks and uppercuts before ultimately finishing a very hurt Brunson off with a savage barrage of elbows to the body at 3:23 of the third round. The middleweight bout was part of the main card of today’s UFC Fight Night 35 event at Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Ga.
