BANGOR, Maine – Ross Pearson refused to let judges get involved in his fight with Gray Maynard , stopping the two-time lightweight title challenger with a well-timed combination in the second round. Stepping in on short notice for an injured Abel Trujillo, Pearson made the most of a quick turnaround after a controversial split-call loss to Diego Sanchez in June. The lightweight bout was the co-main event of today’s UFC Fight Night 47 at Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine.
