TULSA – The opening minutes of the fight didn’t go Beneil Dariush ‘s way, but he built some late-round momentum that carried him to a submission victory in the next frame. Dariush (8-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC), bloodied in the first round, survived and ultimately tapped out a noticeably tiring Tony Martin (8-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) midway through the second round. The lightweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 49 event at BOK Center in Tulsa. It aired on FOX Sports 2 after an additional prelim on UFC Fight Pass and ahead of a main card on FOX Sports 1
