BRASILIA, Brazil – Godofredo Pepey (11-3 MMA, 3-3 UFC) continues to deliver thrills inside the octagon. It took the veteran of “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil” a few minutes to find an opening, but when he did, he finished Dashon Johnson (9-2 MMA, 0-2 UFC) in highlight-reel fashion. The featherweight bout closed out the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 51 event at Nilson Nelson Gymnasium in Brasilia, Brazil. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass. The fight’s end came at the 4:29 mark of the first round after several minutes of relative inaction between the fighters. A few power punches was the only offense to speak of, and it appeared Pepey and Johnson were cautious.
