SAITAMA, Japan – Takenori Sato (17-10-7 MMA, 0-2 UFC) desperately wanted to take Hyun Gyu Lim (13-4-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) to the mat, and that proved to be his undoing. Lim attacked Sato’s exposed head as he shot for a takedown and used punches and elbows to stop the fight just 78 seconds after it began. The welterweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 52 card at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan
