SYDNEY – One moment Sam Alvey was just trying not to get thrown as Dylan Andrews latched onto his back. The next Alvey (24-6 MMA, 1-1 UFC) was somehow in full mount, raining down punches that left Andrews (17-6 MMA, 2-2 UFC) unconscious at the 2:16 mark of Round 1. The welterweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night55 event at Allphones Arena in Sydney
