Ross Pearson has never been knocked out in UFC lightweight competition, but that streak won’t last much longer if Al Iaquinta  has anything to say about it. Iaquinta (9-3-1 MMA, 4-2 UFC) and Pearson (16-7 MMA, 8-4 UFC) meet in the co-main event of next month’s UFC Fight Night 55 event at Allphones Arena in Sydney, Australia. The event streams on UFC Fight Pass. Both men were victorious in their most recent bouts and displayed punching power in the process when they defeated their respective opponents by TKO. The majority of Iaquinta’s UFC career has seen him display his standup prowess, typically because his opponents want to fight on the ground.
