Zach Makovsky BROOMFIELD, Colo. – At times, former Bellator champ Zach Makovsky looked like a cowboy trying to buck a bull in containing Tim Elliott . Elliott (10-6-1 MMA, 2-4 UFC) gave Makovsky (19-5 MMA, 3-1 UFC) all he could handle over three rounds, chasing him around the octagon with punches and battering him from his back. In the end, though, Makovsky showed a champion’s poise to secure a decision. The flyweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 60 event at 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colo. It aired on FOX Sports 1 ahead of a main card on the same channel
