That might sound like an absurd statement from someone on a four-fight losing skid, but Mir’s always shot for the stars. He said he knows the title isn’t in his immediate future, but if he can get past “Bigfoot,” it’s certainly a step in the right direction. “You have to set up long-term goals and short-term goals, and one of my long-term goals is to win the belt again,” Mir told MMAjunkie. “Right now, short-term goals are more easily focused on. I need to take the proper stepping stones to build back up.
