Jose Aldo “UFC Fight Night 62: Maia vs. LaFlare” fighter weigh-ins take place this Friday, and rather than the traditional UFC Fight Club Q&A session, UFC President Dana White, UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo and challenger Conor McGregor will hold a press conference to begin the day’s media activities. The press conference kicks off the previously announced “ UFC 189 World Championship Tour ,” which visits five countries between March 20 and March 31. Both the weigh-ins and press conference take place at Rio de Janeiro’s Maracanazinho Gymnasium. The same venue then hosts the following day’s FOX Sports 1-televised event, which features a welterweight headliner between Demian Maia (19-6 MMA, 13-6 UFC) and Ryan LaFlare (11-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC). The first fighter is on the scale at 5 p.m.
