The Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA) earlier this week announced that all 24 fighters from UFC Fight Night 62: Maia vs. LaFlare on March 21 in Rio de Janeiro were drug tested and all of them produced clean results. CABMMA on Thursday reversed course, issuing a statement that one fighter tested positive for steroids. Jorge de Oliveira tested positive for stanozolol, an anabolic steroid. The reason for the initial misinformation was credited to a communication error.
