Wilson Reis and Jussier Formiga GOIANIA, Brazil – Despite a strong challenge from slight underdog Wilson Reis , Jussier Formiga  was able to emerge victorious in a UFC Fight Night 67 bout that should propel him up the rankings. The flyweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 67 event at Goiania Arena in Goiania, Goias, Brazil. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following additional prelims on UFC Fight Pass and ahead of a main card on FOX Sports 1. Formiga (18-3 MMA, 4-2 UFC) landed a punch early in the round that knocked Reis (19-6 MMA, 3-2 UFC) to his back, more an issue of balance after catching a kick than a power shot, but still an effective scoring moment. Reis was quickly back to his feet where the two flyweights stood at distance looking for opportunities to land strikes
