Poirier and Jordan won “Performance of the Night” bonuses, while Ortega and Tavares earned “Fight of the Night” honors. UFC PR representative David Lockett announced the winners at the post-event news conference, which MMAjunkie attended. Poirier (18-4 MMA, 10-3 UFC), a Louisiana native, shut down Yancy Medeiros (11-3 MMA, 2-3 UFC) with a first-round TKO in front of his home crowd.
