There, he met Shawn Jordan , a former college football player on his ninth professional fight. The promotion was dubbed the “Cajun Fighting Championships.” Lewis (12-3 MMA, 3-1 UFC) was on his second pro fight. Jordan (17-6 MMA, 5-3 UFC) had stopped his previous eight opponents. He had stopped one.
