Josh Barnett SAITAMA, Japan – In his first fight in almost two years, Josh Barnett dominated the iron-chinned Roy Nelson over five rounds to secure an easy decision. Nelson’s (20-12 MMA, 7-8 UFC) toughness apparently went a long way on two judges’ scorecards, which gave scores of 48-47 while one gave Barnett (34-7 MMA, 6-2 UFC) every round, 50-45. “I gave Roy everything I could and he took it and came back,” Barnett said afterward. The heavyweight bout was the main event of today’s UFC Fight Night 75 event at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on FOX Sports 2. From the outset, Barnett took Nelson’s (20-12 MMA, 7-8 UFC) concussive right hand away with consistent pressure.
