Kajan Johnson SAITAMA, Japan – Thanks to a stinging right hand and some smooth footwork, Kajan Johnson managed to put Naoyuki Kotani down – even if he couldn’t quite put him out. Johnson (21-11-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) had good reason to regret not ending the fight early, however, as he was forced to survive a third-round rally from the resilient Kotani (33-13-7 MMA, 0-5 UFC) before notching a unanimous decision victory (29-28, 29-28, 30-27) after three hard rounds. The lightweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 75 event at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.
