Matheus Nicolau SAO PAULO – Bruno Korea ’s freewheeling style made for one flashy moment, but his “Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 4” teammate Matheus Nicolau did all the meaningful damage before a crazy submission sealed the deal. Korea (4-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) ran smack into Nicolau’s (11-1-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) right hook attempting a flying knee and wound up smothered in the final frame before tapping to a modified guillotine choke. The flyweight bout opened up the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 77 event at Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass ahead of additional prelims and a main card on FOX Sports 1. The submission came at the 3:27 mark of the third round as Nicolau trapped Korea’s leg and then secured an arm under the head, cranking back to finish a uniquely applied guillotine choke.
