Bartosz Fabinski MONTERREY, Mexico – Bartosz Fabinski gave Hector Urbina almost no chance to impress his hometown crowd, smothering him over three rounds to pick up a unanimous decision. Urbina (17-9-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC), a veteran of “The Ultimate Fighter 19” and veteran of Monterry, Mexico, tried with all his might to stop Fabinski’s (13-2 MMA, 2-0 UFC) onslaught and instead spent most of the fight looking up at the lights. The welterweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 78 event at Monterrey Arena in Monterrey, Mexico. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following additional prelims on UFC Fight Pass and ahead of a main card on FOX Sports 1. The final scores were 30-27 twice and 29-28 for Fabinski, who picks up his second UFC win after stepping in as a short notice replacement and defeating Garreth McLellan at April’s UFC Fight Night 64
