On Saturday, the promotion lands in Mexico once again for UFC Fight Night 78 in Monterrey. Today, the fighters had their first battle – the one with the scale. And while everyone made weight, there were some raised eyebrows before a couple of fighters were cleared. In Saturday’s main event, Kelvin Gastelum (11-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) meets late-notice replacement Neil Magny (16-4 MMA, 9-3 UFC) at welterweight. And in a featherweight barnburner, Ricardo Lamas (15-4 MMA, 6-2 UFC) is the card’s biggest favorite against the always-ready-to-scrap Diego Sanchez (25-7 MMA, 14-7 UFC).
