Alberto Mina SEOUL – Ravaged by Yoshihiro Akiyama ’s leg kicks, Alberto Mina decided the mat was a far more comfortable place to be than standing. But despite several tumbles to the canvas, Mina’s (12-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) early work against Akiyama (14-6 MMA, 2-6 UFC) – including a near-knockout in the second round – saved him on the judges’ scorecards to the dismay of the crowd. The welterweight bout was part of the main card of today’s UFC Fight Night 79 event at Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass. The final scorecards were 29-28 twice for Mina, who preserved his undefeated record by the slimmest of margins
