PITTSBURGH – It wasn’t pretty, but Nathan Coy ’s wrestling carried the day against Jonavin Webb and his inventive counter-attacks. After grinding his way through the latter two rounds of a three-round affair, Coy (15-6 MMA, 1-1 UFC) got the nod from the judges, edging out Webb (8-2 MMA, 0-2 UFC) via unanimous decision by scores of 29-28 across the board. The welterweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 83 event at CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following additional prelims on UFC Fight Pass and ahead of a main card on FOX Sports 1.
