LONDON – Brad Pickett said he was prepared to finish his career in front of his hometown fans if he’d come up short against Francisco Rivera . Instead, Pickett (25-11 MMA, 5-6 UFC) got the victory by the narrowest of margins, beating Rivera (11-6 MMA, 4-4 UFC) via split-decision with scores of 29-28, 28-29, and 29-28 after three close rounds. The bantamweight bout opened today’s UFC Fight Night 84 main card at The O2 in London. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass.
