Both men gave a good account of themselves, but it was Overeem scoring the thunderous knockout in the second round. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. Overeem (41-14-1 MMA, 6-3 UFC) had to survive an early flurry from Arlovski (25-12 MMA, 14-6 UFC) after allowing his back to be put against the cage. He was quick to find his timing, however, and scored a takedown late in Round 1
