ROTTERDAM, Netherlands – Kicks to the face aside, lightweight Rustam Khabilov was in the driver’s seat at UFC Fight Night 87 and looking very much like a prospect that could make big waves in the division. Khabilov (20-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC) pushed his managers to get him right back in the octagon after a February decision over Norman Parke, and by outpointing Chris Wade (11-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) on the main card of Sunday’s event, he inched further up the ladder. The event, which took place at Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, Netherlands, aired on FOX Sports 1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.
