Pickett, Garbrandt (8-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) tells MMAjunkie Radio, caught Almeida (21-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) with a left hook; the left hook is his favored punch. Pickett took Almeida down; he is from wrestling-savvy Team Alpha Male and takes down those he doesn’t knock out. Those are just a few observations from Garbrandt as he heads into the main event of UFC Fight Night 88, which takes place May 29 at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Events Center.
